What day is today? Oh, it's Thursday.

My Post was deleted. :(

So, there's gonna be a Milli Vanilli movie. So, two actors will pretend to be two guys who pretended to be singers. There's a wormhole opening up somewhere in there.

I'm sad because I wrote a whole post, tried to publish it, and it vanished. CURSES!!!

So here's a quick rundown:

Movies I'm interested in or that look dumb (You figure out which is which):
Fantastic Mr. Fox
The Condemned

TV Show that intrigues me:
Andy Barker, PI

That's all. I did more, but now I'm just too sad to go on.

Thiggidy-Thursday

Tape on cats is funny.

Give up all hope of productivity today as you try to beat Dice Wars!

Holy crap! Giant Squid!

The best parts of CSI:Miami all summed up for you. (Pay attention to the Sunglasses of Justice.)

Look at all the actors they got to be in Command and Conquer 3! That's Sawyer from Lost, Dr. Cameron from House, Michael Ironside (from no end of bad movies), Couple of People from Battlestar Galactica, and hey! Lando Calrissean!

If you get tired of Dice Wars, try Virus 2. Sadly not subtitled Electric Boogaloo.

Oh, and finally, imagine you live in Portugal, you buy a lovely farm house that's been empty for 15 years. You explore a little bit and find a barn. You open the barn, and inside you find...this.

Woohoo! Wednesday

Hooray! Resident Evil: Extinction Trailer!
Want to know all about High Definition Video and Televisions? Maybe this will help.
Van Halen is becoming Spinal Tap. Or at least as ridiculous as Spinal Tap.
The wonders of Make-Up. (I'm not vouching for the veracity of any of those pictures. Some of them look fake.)
Wow! This is Neat! Laser Graffitti.
50 Underappreciated Rap Songs in one collection. There's some nice stuff in there. I particularly like Redman (NSFW lyrics), but then, I own all his albums so, I'M not underappreciating him. What's up with the rest of you?
Scott McCloud explains Micropayments. As only he can.
And then Sean Barret (a programmer) explains Why It Probably Won't Happen.
Super Mario Beatboxing Flute. Yeah, you read that right.

We so could have used this for making lunch decisions when I worked at Sony.
It is beginning. We will have our robot bodies.

Here's another game I really enjoy, Swords and Sandals.
Apparently Dan Aykroyd has confirmed that there's going to be a Ghostbusters III. Possibly as an animated movie? Maybe with a relaunched new cast? (Like Zach Braff, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, and maybe Hillary Duff or something. The kids would watch it.)

Tuesday's Child is Full of Something

Someone named Abby left a comment on one of my posts. That's awesome. I have no idea who that is. SOMEONE ELSE IS READING THE BLOG! HOORAY!

Tell your friends. We need more people reading the craziness.

I find stuff like this fascinating: List of TV shows canceled after 1 airing. Includes a random BBC show in which Hitler and Eva Braun live next door to a Jewish couple in the suburbs. Which you can watch here. Seriously, it's called Heil Honey, I'm Home.

Rabbit vs. Snake. OMG! Go Rabbit!

Your odds of dying. Of random things.

This is random. A list of advertisements that use spanking in their advertising.

Weird Wacky Wild Wednesday

So, Australia was having a Fireworks show, while lightning was striking off the coast, at the exact same time the McNaught Comet went through the sky. Someone took a nice picture.

Miracle Frut. It's like a buff for your tongue (30 min. duration). Seriously. It masks the tongues sour tastebuds making things like lemons and limes taste sweet.

There's no money in curing diseases, so the fact that this cheap, safe drug kills most types of cancer has not made major news.

If you missed the Superbowl you can watch the whole thing here in 3 minutes. (Warning: Loud)

Justice League News & a Recipe

So, Joss Whedon decided he'd had enough of Wonder Woman.

In more Justice League related news, David Goyer was bumped from the Flash Movie. They're making a Flash Movie? With Ryan Reynolds? Ok, I can see that.

Garden Vegetable Soup (0 points)
2/3 cup sliced carrot
1/2 cup diced onion
2 minced garlic cloves
3 cups fat free broth (beef/chicken/vegetable)
1 1/2 cups diced cabbage (haha, as if)
1/2 cup green beans
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup diced zucchini (to keep the cabbage company not going in my soup)

1. In large saucepan sprayed with noonstick cooking spray (do they make sticky cooking spray?) saute the carrot, onion, and garlic over low heat until softened (say about 5 minutes)
2. Add broth, cabbage (ha!), beans, tomato paste, basil, oregano, and salt; bring to a boil. lower heat and simmer, covered, about 15 munutes or until beans are tiender.
3. Stir in Zuchini (yeah right) and heat 3-4 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 4 1 cup servings.

Each serving is 42 calories, 0 g fat, 2 g fiber.

Manning is a Winner

So, I spent yesterday watching the Super Bowl in a house full of Rabid Bears Fans (And one guy in a Marino jersey) and I just can't tell you how exciting that was. There was palpable tension. Until some point in the 3rd quarter when it looked pretty bleak and then everybody got sad.

For a while, there was a lot of joking around, someone kept quoting a Saturday Night Live skit from a couple of weeks ago, saying "That'll move the chains" every time Chicago ran a play, and for a while, that was the best running joke of the night. Until that weird point when everybody got quiet and after that someone would occasionally say it ("That'll move the chains") and everyone would just sort of glare at the television and ignore the person talking.

Overall though, I had a good time.

Good for the Colts.

Friday is Link day. Didn't you know?

This is GENIUS. Read the whole thing, the first sentence is priceless, but also the information on the cover made me giggle.

This is for Kayla, pictures of Harry Potter shirtless, with a horse. If you have a Y chromosome, don't even bother with that link.

Now you can check online to see where incidents are occurring. Try things like assassination, or bomb.

Terminator vs. Robocop.

This Wave isn't frozen, but it's still cool.

Tangerines! Dodge them. Get points. Listen to that smooth music...

Weird. You can watch boats move around San Francisco harbor. I don't know why...

List of Unusual Wikipedia articles. I like Acoustic Kitty.

Thurs- Ahh! Links! Stop it!

Rush Hour THREE.

Hm...Japanese people stuffed sausage in their pizza crust...they're awesome. Ooh, and tater tots wrapped in bacon. My diet is killing me.

The internet is brilliant. You can now search for songs by singing into your microphone.

Russell Crowe is making a Robin Hood Movie? I guess it's better than Costner.

And apparently the X-Files movie won't die. They're talking about a sequel.

Holy Moledo! That's a Stephen King movie that doesn't look terrible! It's got Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack in it!

This is indeed, an awesome chase scene.

Cool pictures of an ice storm approaching Buffalo. Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.

Nice job on the Pulse webpage. Kayla, don't watch it.

News must be slow in Euless. I like that they even added a map.

That's it. I got nothing else.
